WiMAX 101 Presentation Posted!
April 25, 2009--DigitalBridge Communications Corp. (DBC) gave NRTC members an overview of WiMAX technology on April 24, 2009. The presentation is now available.
In comments recently filed with the Federal Communications Commission, NRTC has asserted that “WiMAX is a least-cost, readily deployable technology that also offers great potential for mobility as well as fixed service.” With a combination of WiMAX and Internet access via satellite, NRTC members have the capability to extend broadband Internet access to the unserved and underserved areas of rural America.
