Raymond Henagan Elected to NRTC Board of Directors
LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL, Feb. 5, 2013 -- Raymond Henagan, manager and CEO of Rock Port Telephone, Rock Port, MO, was declared the winner of the Director election for Voting District No. 12, held yesterday during the NRTC Annual Meeting.
Henagan joins the board as one of four District 12 members representing rural telco NRTC members. The other District 12 members include NRTC Vice Chairman Randy Houdek, general manager, Venture Communications Cooperative in South Dakota; Trevor Bonnstetter, general manager, West Kentucky Rural Telephone Cooperative Corporation in Kentucky, and Jeff Wilson, general manager, Dickey Rural Telephone Cooperative in North Dakota.
Henagan has more than 40 years of telephone industry experience. Prior to joining Rock Port, he served as vice president and general manager of Cameron Communications, Sulphur, LA. He has executive management experience in regulated telephone operations, cable television, Internet, long distance, wireless operations, and data storage and security. He graduated from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA, with a BS in Accounting.
Mr. Henagan’s election was verified and certified yesterday and, thus, he assumes the District 12 director position as of that date.
NRTC will elect three board members representing electric cooperatives during a second session of its annual meeting on Feb. 17 in New Orleans.
