Bailey White, VP of Sales and Development for NRTC Managed Services will host two online “CrowdSessions” this month. The 30-minute interactive sessions will look at how rural electric and telephone companies successfully launch broadband service and expand their market footprint..

NRTC members, both CrowdFiber users and those who do not use it, get valuable marketing insights from CrowdSessions.  At the same time, the webinars offer a glimpse of how CrowdFiber tools can improve broadband network planning and business operation.

On March 11 at 2 p.m. Eastern Time, Amy Harrelson, director of Sales and Marketing at Pineland Telephone Cooperative in Metter, GA, will describe success achieved through a growth initiative. Pineland increased its existing base by developing partnerships and expanding service outside its telephone service area. Pineland also made significant changes to its website and doubled inbound requests for service. Register now for “Pineland Achieves Smart and Scalable Growth with CrowdFiber.”

The second session, “Lake Region Electric Cooperative Turns to CrowdFiber to Reinvigorate Launch of Broadband Services,” features the co-op’s communications specialist Larry Mattes. Oklahoma-based Lake Region changed the momentum for an initially underperforming broadband launch to create excitement for the service in its market. Precise planning helped the co-op increase pre-registration and sales. Registration is open for the March 23, 2 p.m. Eastern webinar.

Both CrowdSessions will include Q&A. We hope to see you there.

Dan Timmer is director of marketing for NRTC Managed Services.
