Rural mobile phone service providers working through NRTC’s Telispire have a quicker, easier way to enter the prepaid calling/data business thanks the new Flex Cellular Program. Mobile phone customers ordering the $40 monthly “best-value” plan will get 7 gigabytes of high-speed data along with unlimited calling minutes, unlimited text and picture messages and several other features.
Telispire is a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), which leases access to spectrum from a national mobile phone carrier and adds value through prepaid programs, back office support, marketing assistance and several other services. It is formally introducing the Flex Cellular today at its booth at the All Wireless & Prepaid Expo in Las Vegas. On September 22-25, NRTC and Telispire also will be featuring the plan at the NTCA – The Rural Broadband Association’s Fall Conference in Denver, CO.
The advantage of Flex Cellular for Telispire resellers is the plan’s simplicity, with Telispire handling more of the back-office tasks. “With our other prepaid service, you can build your own service. The plans are done differently and there’s a lot more customization to it,” said. Amber Flores, Telispire marketing analyst. “Flex Cellular is packaged for you and it’s ready to go.”
Resellers may offer five different tiers of Flex Cellular service ranging from $25 a month (no data) to $60 a month (22 GB of data). All five plans provide Wi-Fi calling, one of Telispire’s newest features. The program offers up-front activation with resellers earning bonuses after signing their first prepaid customers. A competitive commission plan allows resellers to offer incentives for customer loyalty.
NRTC members working with Telispire can learn more about Flex Cellular and sign up for the program by going to the Flex Cellular website – flexcellular.com.
