Four Incumbents to Stand Unopposed in NRTC Board Elections

NRTC has completed the nominations process for four seats on its board of directors. The nominations committee has accepted the candidacy of incumbent directors in voting districts 2, 5, 7 and 12. They will all be unopposed during the upcoming 2019 NRTC Annual Meeting.

Raymond Henagan, CEO of Rock Port Telephone, Rock Port, MO, will officially stand for reelection to the District 12 seat at the first part of the annual meeting on Feb. 5, held during NTCA’s Rural Telecom Industry Meeting & Expo (RTIME) in New Orleans, LA.

The annual meeting for electric members will be held March 10 during the NRECA Annual Meeting and TechAdvantage Conference in Orlando, FL. Board members David Pierce, director, Amicalola EMC, Jasper, GA; Shannon Clark, CEO and GM, Richland EC, Richland Center, WI, and Robert "Dale" Short, CEO and GM, Butler RECA, El Dorado, KS, will stand for the District 2, 5 and 7 seats, respectively.

At both sessions, NRTC CEO Tim Bryan will review business highlights and financial results for 2018 and talk about the future. The Orlando session also will feature a guest speaker.
