Kentik, a San Francisco-based online security systems developer, today announced their partnership with NRTC's NeoNova. The companies said that the partnership will focus on helping members accomplish two critical goals – providing enhanced real-time network visibility to drive informed business decisions and mitigating distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks.
“We aim to bring best-of-breed technology to rural broadband service providers so they can focus on what they do best 一 delighting their customers and bridging the digital divide,” NeoNova CEO Jason McGinnis said. “Given resource constraints for many of our customers, for far too long they’ve been stuck with legacy and/or DIY network monitoring tools … Our partnership with Kentik changes that for our customers and arms them with actionable insights.”
The Kentik product will power NeoNova's Network Analysis and DDoS solution, delivering self-service, around-the-clock network monitoring that provides data to optimize network traffic, reduce costs, and inform decisions in many aspects of members' businesses. In addition, it includes 24x7x365 live DDoS monitoring by expert NOC technicians to detect and respond to attacks, minimizing the impact.
Update July 10: At NeoNova's request, we have added minor changes to yesterday's post.
