Reminder: Update Your Voting Delegate Designations

Randy Sukow Dec 3, 2018

NRTC recently mailed letters to all Class A electric and Class B telco members eligible to participate in the upcoming 2019 NRTC board elections. We ask members to update the names of their voting representatives before the Class B telco election, scheduled for Feb. 5, 2019, during the NTCA Annual Meeting/RTIME Conference in New Orleans, LA, and the Class A electric vote, March 10, during the NRECA Annual Meeting in Orlando, FL.

If your company does not require updates of its voting delegates, no action is necessary. For those that are sending updates, please use the form enclosed with the letter to email, fax or mail responses as soon as possible. If you have questions or your company did not receive a letter, please contact Chris Martin at

We also ask Class A members to look for the Call for Nominations NRTC recently distributed by email. There will be elections for electric board seats in Districts 2, 5 and 7. The deadline for nominations is Dec. 28. Incumbents David Pierce a director for Amicalola Electric Members Corp. in Georgia; Shannon Clark, CEO and GM of Richland Electric Corp. in Wisconsin, and Dale Short, CEO and GM of Butler Rural Electric Cooperative Association in Kansas are eligible for re-election.

NRTC will announce the names of all Class A and B candidates in January.
