TechConnect 2025

TechConnect is a combination technology learning opportunity, “roll-up-your-sleeves” business discussion and member appreciation event.

TechConnect begins with a fun reception Monday night. Tuesday, we’ll have a full day of learning and information sharing with a general session and break-outs on Broadband (Build and Operations), Mobile and Smart Grid followed by a dinner event. Wednesday, we conclude with a morning general session, afternoon excursions (fun!) and a closing get-together.

In addition to the substantive learning and business development sessions, the networking opportunities with peers and subject matter experts is extremely valuable.

When is the event?

November 3-5, 2025
(we’ll have great rates that extend for several days in either direction from the event. With all the incredible activities to do and unique places to see, you may want to turn the trip into a vacation!)

Where will it be?

The beautiful PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Boldly reinvited, but unmistakenly legendary. Here, luxury is always the standard, and golf is never considered just a game. Together, the two create an enviable lifestyle in a setting that embraces the best Florida has to offer — all at the heart of a luxurious resort community.

What topics will be covered?

We’ll be covering topics important to our members today and those that could impact them in the future. Six hours of the agenda are reserved for user group meetings focused on broadband, smart grid and mobile.

This year, we’re offering three Broadband tracks – focused on growing your broadband business, optimizing your broadband network and leveraging mobile to compete. So, we’ll have meaningful content for our members, regardless of where they are in their broadband journey. Members can “choose their own path” and jump in and out of those three tracks depending on the content.

On the Smart Grid side, our Reliability Summit is a unique opportunity to share insights and experiences on how key smart grid technologies, including metering, distributed energy resources, demand management, and communications can be leveraged to drive measurable reliability improvements. The Smart Grid Team will offer expert guidance while facilitating peer-to-peer discussions to uncover best practices, tools, resources and cooperative-driven strategies.

Who’s invited?

NRTC members who currently work with us or are seriously considering our solutions are invited to attend. NRTC provides all meals, events and excursions (including golf, fishing and catamaran) for up to two leaders/managers from each participating NRTC member. All you have to do is get there and cover your lodging (and we’ve negotiated great rates for this beautiful property).

How much does it cost?

Registration is FREE for the first two employees of NRTC members and current customers. Additional employees are welcome to attend at a steeply discounted rate. We also have a special rate for any guests you’d like to bring along, such as spouses. Registration gets you access to all of the general sessions, the breakout of your choice, receptions, breakfast and lunch Tuesday and Wednesday, and the excursion activity of your choice (space-permitting).
