OEC Fiber President, David Goodspeed and systems and process efficiency expert, Don Eben, joined NRTC for a discussion on creating a roadmap for broadband providers to improve their processes and systems. David shared the experience OEC Fiber had going through an Operational Health Assessment and the impact it had on their business processes and systems. The session explores how Operational Health Assessments help broadband providers better understand how work actually gets done across teams and systems. We covered how stakeholder interviews, process mapping, technology assessment, and gap analysis can be used to uncover bottlenecks, reduce rework, and clarify where process, system, or integration improvements may be needed.
