Randy Sukow Sep 19, 2016

Jason McGinnis, chief operating officer at NRTC’s NeoNova subsidiary takes over this week as NeoNova’s president. He succeeds Ray Carey, who has served as NeoNova CEO since 2010.

“It’s never easy to lose someone of Ray Carey’s caliber, but we were fortunate to have another leader of exceptional ability and vision within NeoNova,” said NRTC CEO Tim Bryan. “We are extremely confident that Jason McGinnis will excel in his new role, building upon NeoNova’s strong tradition of innovation and success.”

McGinnis (pictured) joined NeoNova in 2008 after earlier serving as VP, Security Operations for Perimeter eSecurity in Milford, CT. He also has held positions with IBM, American Express, and Wal-Mart.

Under Carey’s leadership, Raleigh, NC-based NeoNova has grown to serve more than 200 broadband providers with more than a million subscribers in total. He helped manage the transition following NRTC’s acquisition of NeoNova in 2013. Carey plans to pursue opportunities in the private equity business.
